Aminotate’s formulary contains the following amino acids: Glycine, L-Alanine, L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, L-Valine, L-Lysine, L-Arginine, L-Methionine, L-Histidine, L-Threonine, L-Phenylalanine, Proline, L-Glutamine and L-Tyrosine. We will take a quick look at some of these ingredients below.

L-Isoleucine is what is referred to as an “essential amino acid” due to its crucial role in human nutrition. It is an important factor in ingredient in muscle recuperation after exercise. It is also used by the body to control blood sugar levels.

L-Threonine is another essential amino acid, which is used by the body to synthesis protein and its assists in the creating of collagen and Elastin.

L-Phenylalanine is an alpha amino acid, which a precursor to L-Tyrosine; which is believed to be important for the synthesis of protein in the body. L-Phenylalanine is believed to reduce the craving for alcohol and to help with migraines and PMS, as well as helping with pain and inflammation.

Aminotate is full of basic amino acids and it relies heavily on them to create some anti-aging results in users. We have seen many manufacturers create products around amino acids because they are relatively inexpensive and well known among consumers; although we do not believe they are the most effective anti-aging agents available. Many manufacturers suggest that amino acids can entice the pituitary gland into creating more HGH, which begins to decrease as adult’s age and it’s a key reason for age related issues. Amino acids may be able to have some nominal effect on the pituitary gland, but we have not seen proof that it can significantly boost its capabilities.

There are ingredients such as Real HGHR which have been shown to be able to drastically affect the pituitary glands ability to generate HGH in users. It is used in many aggressive and comprehensive anti-aging formulas. It is unfortunate that Aminotate does not contain any comparable ingredients.

Aminotate uses L-Threonine to try to enhance the body’s ability to create collagen and Elastin to help regenerate the skin. However, we have seen better results in products which use 2-AEP®, an anti-aging power house, which has been shown to be able to protect and regenerate cells. So much so, that it is used in Europe to treat MS because of its ability to regenerate cells. We believe that when L-Threonine is compared to 2-AEP® its lack luster performance is rather obvious.

The webpage on which Aminotate is posted does provide consumers with full access to this products formulary, as well as ingredient descriptions, which we always like to see provided by both manufacturers and retailers. However, they have failed to post any research information to prove the claims made about the ingredients used in this product. There are consumers who want to review this kind of information, who will be sorely disappointed that it is not provided and they may well pass on this product because of this omission-we would not blame them for doing so. We believe that this is important information to be able to review and when it is not posted it is an indication to us that there may well be no research to validate the claims made about a product such as this one.

There are some consumers who are very interested in using amino acid based formulas, so Aminotate may be a valuable resource for them. However, we do not believe that it will be able to significantly affect any age related issues they may be experiencing. As mentioned earlier, this formula does not use either 2-AEP® or Real HGHR, two anti-aging agents which we believe are the most effective available on the market. It is regrettable that this manufacture did not include these ingredients in this product.

Aminotate is available on the website for $33.08 for 100 capsules; although given its formulary and its use of rather benign ingredients, we do not believe that this is a very cost effective product. The manufacturer also suggests using Aminotate with other products, which will increase the overall cost of using this particular product.
